Hand Therapy Solutions is directed by Michelle K. Blumenstyk. Her undergraduate degree is from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook where she studied Early Childhood Education and Music. Before studying Occupational Therapy, Michelle worked as a professional musician and teacher. Michelle's Graduate study was at New York University where she received a Masters of Arts in Occupational Therapy in 1981.

 

Specializing in hand therapy since 1983, Michelle has been a staff member at various New York and New Jersey hospitals, including Montefiore, Barnert, and Englewood. She has also worked at Englewood Orthopedic Associates and in private clinics. Her last position held was Director of Hand Health and Rehab, in Tenafly, NJ. Michelle is also fluent in Spanish. Michelle was born in New York and has lived in Bergen County since 1984. She and her husband Sam have two sons.
